Sustainable Aviation Fuel has the greatest near-term potential to help decarbonise the aviation industry.

Sojitz Corporation (“Sojitz”) invests in a holding structure of the special purpose company, IOC GPS Renewables Pvt. Ltd. (“IGRPL”) established jointly by GPS Renewables Private Limited. (“GPSR”) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (“IOCL”), the largest state-owned oil company in India, which designs, constructs, operates, and provides maintenance for biomethane plants in India. IFM Investors, Ampol and GrainCorp welcome the Federal Government’s announcement today to commit $250 million to low carbon liquid fuels (LCLF) from the $1.7 billion Future Made in Australia Fund. In July last year, IFM, Ampol and GrainCorp signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the establishment of an integrated renewable fuels supply chain in Australia.

CEFC welcomes additional $2 billion capital allocation from Australian Government

The CEFC today welcomed an additional $2 billion capital allocation from the Australian Government, to support investment commitments via the CEFC General Portfolio. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Minister for Climate Change and Energy Chris Bowen announced the additional allocation on 23 January 2025. The allocation was subsequently approved by the Australian Parliament and received Royal Assent on 14 February 2025.
