Bioenergy Australia Webinar Series

Bioenergy Australia has initiated a free webinar to explore the pivot recently taken by the Australian biofuels industry to support supply of ethanol into hand sanitiser production during the peak of the COVID pandemic in Australia.

With significant disruptions to international supply lines in the early stages of the COVID pandemic it was clear that the Australian ethanol industry was going to be needed in to ensure adequate supply of pharmaceutical and industrial grade ethanol. In the blink of an eye, ethanol producers were being bombarded with thousands of enquiries a week and needing to shift business operations to supply to a new customer base.

Hear from experts within the biofuels industry on how ethanol is made, the role the Australian ethanol industry played in the COVID response and the ongoing opportunity for biofuels.

Join the webinar to understand how the Australian Biofuels Industry contributed to the rapid deployment of hand sanitisers for front line essential workers.
