Bioenergy Australia Webinar Series

Supported by the International Energy Agency - Advanced Biofuels Task

In the next several decades, an increase of electric vehicles (EVs) into the global passenger vehicle fleet is expected. However, even with increasing demand, electric vehicles are projected to account for only 30 per cent of the global vehicle fleet by 2040.

However, passenger vehicles account for one part of liquid fuel requirements with Aviation, Shipping and Heavy Haulage (Trucks and Trains) still requiring high energy density liquid fuels.  Biofuels are a proven technology and will complement the uptake of EV’s as the transport sector moves to reduce emissions.

This webinar will present how both technologies play a significant role in decarbonising the transport sector in foreign countries (e.g. Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Brazil) as well as in Australia.

Anyone interested in vehicle mobility in Australia is invited to join this webinar!
