SKY Renewables is a first mover in sourcing agricultural waste in Queensland as feedstock to produce bioenergy. We established ourselves as a Queensland business in February 2019. Project Feast in Emerald – utilising sugar “thick juice” extracted from sugar beet to produce bioethanol for processing into SAF using alcohol-to-jet technology. Project Lion in the Burdekin – utilising sugarcane tops-and-trash for processing into syngas and use the syngas to produce either biomethane, bio-methanol or directly into renewable diesel and/or SAF using Fischer-Tropsch technology. We entered into a first-of-a-kind Feedstock + Technology collaboration MOU with Honeywell UOP in October 2025.
