Australian Renderers Association
The Australian Renderers Association (ARA) is the national peak body representing Australia’s rendering industry and used cooking oil recyclers. ARA members transform animal by-products from the red meat, poultry, and seafood sectors into valuable co-products such as tallow, fats, and protein meals used in feed, oleochemical, and renewable fuel industries. Through its accreditation program, advocacy, and technical leadership, the ARA upholds high standards of hygiene, traceability, and sustainability across the supply chain. The Association works closely with government and industry partners to strengthen market access, drive innovation, and promote the industry’s role in Australia’s circular economy and bioenergy future.
