Hyland Highway Landfill

Ownership: Evo Energy Technologies partnered with Latrobe City Council

Overview: This project required the installation of a 2G 900 kW generator to convert landfill gas from the Hyland Highway Landfill to renewable electricity. The system continuously produces an average of 7,000 MWh of electricity. This allows the project to offset the vast majority of Latrobe City Council’s total electricity consumption.
