Tasmania’s Bioenergy Future Online Summit was held Monday 9 November 2020 together with the Tasmanian Government. This event consists of both a seminar where you will hear from industry experts sharing information through presentations and existing projects/case studies followed by three breakrooms that will look at a more in-depth discussion of projects and technology within the industry.

Tasmania’s Bioenergy Future online summit seeks to provide an opportunity for the agriculture, farming, industrial, energy, transport, mining, and local government sectors to understand their potential opportunities in bioenergy and the broader bioeconomy. To understand more about the technologies and feedstocks please check out KPMG State of the Nation Report and Biogas Opportunities for Australia recently published by Bioenergy Australia.

With thanks to the Tasmanian Government whose ABBA funds from ARENA and Agrigrowth made this seminar possible.

The ABBA data is collected by State Growth and published on the AREMI (Australian Renewable Energy Mapping Infrastructure) allowing bioenergy developers to locate areas with biomass for bioenergy production and provides an opportunity for those with underutilised biomass to find a market for it. For those with any biomass from agricultural, municipal, industrial or forestry sources that would like to have this data in ABBA please contact Martin Moroni :
