Australia’s first National Feedstock Roundtable Welcome Reception
Wed 27 Aug 2025 18:00 — 20:00

Event information

Registration for this event closes at Tue 19 Aug 2025 13:00.

Join us for a special evening event to celebrate the launch of Australia’s First National Feedstock Roundtable.

Held at Parliament House in Canberra the night before the invite-only roundtable, this reception is open to all who are passionate about the future of low carbon fuels and renewable gas in Australia.

For the first time, leaders from agriculture, waste and energy are coming together to unlock the vast potential of Australia's feedstock resources - from crop residues and tallow to used cooking oil and organic waste.

These underused resources could power a new generation of clean fuels - including sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), renewable diesel, ethanol and renewable gas - driving down emissions while boosting fuel security, creating regional jobs and contributing over $10 billion annually to the economy.

The welcome reception will take place on Wednesday 27 August 2025, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, in the Private Dining Rooms at Parliament House, Canberra. The welcome reception will include an address from The Hon. Julie Collins MP, Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry from 6:30pm.

Don’t miss this opportunity to network with industry leaders, policymakers, producers and innovators as we celebrate the launch of this pivotal national initiative.
