Bioenergy Australia Webinar Series

Supported by IEA Bioenergy - Biorefinery in a Circular Economy (Task 42)

Over the last decade the deployment of renewable biochemicals has been disappointing. Without support from Governments, it is simply too easy to continue to use plentiful and cheap non-renewable sources of carbon to produce biochemicals.

However, technology continues to improve and there are a multitude of exciting opportunities to deploy equivalent or superior products into the future in the field of biochemicals.

Join the webinar to understand the role of biochemicals in reaching the Sustainable Development Scenario!

Ed will discuss opportunities and progress being made over the last decade and draw on his experience at Avantium to give a sense of challenges and opportunities in the sector.

Everyone is welcome to join the webinar, in particular technology developers, sugar manufacturers, companies with carbon rich side streams, university researchers, renewable financiers, investors in renewables and policy makers.
